Michael Bolger
Managing Director
Michael is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance and due diligence, having started his career in 2001 in Dublin. He led the personal insolvency division at Grant Thornton, advising on a range of financial matters. In 2012, he was seconded to the Department of Justice, aiding Ireland’s Insolvency Service and serving on the Consultative Forum on Debt.
David Benko
Head of Operations
David joined Beacon Capital in early 2023 as a Case Manager, where he manages client relationships, oversees project funding, and ensures smooth coordination between clients and internal teams. Prior to joining Beacon Capital, David gained extensive experience through various entrepreneurial ventures, leading teams and managing complex projects across different sectors. In 2019, he won the "Best Established Business" award at the IBYE competition in County Wicklow.
Carl Copeland
Senior Case Manager
Carl joined Beacon Capital with extensive experience in retail banking, personal insolvency, and case management. He has worked with leading financial institutions such as AIB and Permanent TSB, managing distressed debt and branch operations.
A qualified Financial Advisor with diplomas in financial services from UCD, Carl also serves as Chairperson of the Corpus Christi Church Finance Committee, contributing to his local community. His expertise in debt negotiation and regulatory compliance ensures client cases are handled with care and precision.
Sam - Giang Le
Financial Analyst
Sam holds an MSc in Financial Data Science from UCD Smurfit and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from the National Economics University in Hanoi.
He previously worked in the Investment Banking division of Tan Viet Securities in Hanoi, supporting M&A transactions, capital raises, and IPOs. His work focused on financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparing transaction materials for clients and investors. At Beacon Capital, Giang supports financial analysis, modelling, and investment evaluation.
Ryan O'Keefe
Junior Case Manager
Ryan supports the team in the execution and administration of lending transactions. His role includes assisting with deal coordination, documentation and case management across property financing opportunities.
He also supports the preparation of transaction materials and internal processes to ensure the efficient progression of deals from initial review through to completion.
